I am a Design and Textile Historian, a Folklorist, and a Technologist. My most recent research explores the relationship between hand knitting and twentieth century wartime volunteerism. My current work supports students, faculty, and staff with digital pedagogy, particularly in creating public facing digital humanities work.
On a wider scale, my research focuses on material culture, craft, handmade textiles and the way making satisfies a personal ideological need.
